About Me:My name is Dameon Edwards. I live in Lawrence, KS. I am a third year member of the PBA, a USBC certified level 1 coach, a licensed real estate Broker in Missouri, and no longer a licensed Realtor in Kansas (I was), and former military. I also work part time at Royal Crest Lanes.
I do computer work part time also, on an on call basis. I am an A+ certified computer technician. 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl, and I am married. I am bowling twice a week during the winter full time, one night part time, and am spending a lot of time practicing at work and in KC. I am ramping up for the regional season, starting with the TQR in Omaha in February, Raytown in April, and schedule to be determined from there.
Music:Anything but gangster rap crap (I don't mind dance music) and opera.....
Movies:Give me some action!
TV:DVR everything! Hate commercials! Criminal investigation stuff: All CSIs, NCIS, Shark, Criminal Minds and Cold Case. Also, action like The Unit. Heroes, Jericho, and Las Vegas. Several comedy shows too: 2 and a half men, Big Bang Theory, and others. Also Sesame Street to watch with the youngest. Lastly, not least, one must DVR the PBA to watch.
Books:Tom Clancy, John Sandford, John Grisham, W.E.B. Griffin, Anne Rice, Louis Lamour, James Patterson, some Stephen King, (all geniuses) and various other authors.
Likes:Go HUSKERS!!!! (moved to Kansas from Nebraska)
Racing in my modified 2001 Green Mustang Bullitt. (Someone asked about a Bullitt, so here are some pics, it is based off a movie, and has a website dedicated strictly for Bullitts, which I am registered with.(www.imboc.com) These pics are the photos from Ford, and some from the IMBOC. I will add some of mine when I break it out of the garage when the weather gets better. It stays inside in the bad weather!

I found a new like. I like the Arena Football League. I went to my first game the weekend of 5 March, and had a great time. Go KC Brigade.
Also, the KC Chiefs, Bowling (of course), pizza, Crown Royale, and 3Olives Orange Vodka and Sprite....
I used to like two steppin' and line dancin', however kids prevent doing the bar scene anymore.
Dislikes:I reiterate: Rap Crap! Also, rabbit food, don't need no stinkin vegetables....lol. Negative and no common sense people.
Hobbies:Bowling, softball (which I have just about given up with the rotator tear), texas hold-em, sand volleyball, and computer & PS2 gaming. Spending time with my kids is number one though.
Vices:Anything fun and adrenaline causing...
Heroes:My brothers and sisters (figuratively, not literally) in the military. My father for getting me started on bowling when I was just old enough to chase the ball down the lane. (True story, around age 4)
I have been super busy lately. Since I last posted, I have been bowling pretty well. We won league champions on one of my leagues. I have been to Greater Ozarks open, Kansas State (where I got a check for 33rd place in singles), Four State open (waiting on that check in team event), Southwest tournament in Wichita (where I took 18th in singles), National USBC (where I shot 629 in singles, and expect some money), and 3 Regional PBA events (Raytown, Belton, and Junction City). I got sick the night before Junction City, and took dead last. I won the RedLeader Award (private joke between Trevor Gorton, John Gould and I). I am bowing two summer leagues, an Experience league in Missouri at Premier with at least a dozen of my PBA buddies, and a Royals ticket league in Topeka with my wife.
Also, I have gone back to college. I may have posted this, but I am finishing up two degrees, one in Organizational Leadership, and one in Information Networking and Technology, both online programs from Ft. Hays University, here in Kansas. I had an Associates of Science from Barton County Community College's Ft. Riley campus, but decided to complete my Bachelors' degrees.
Also, I have my kids a lot this spring and summer. My oldest is almost 15, and is here half the summer. He has decided to follow in my footsteps, and will try out for his high school bowling team. He is also a football player, and runs track. My daughter, who is 12 next week, is here for four weeks during the summer. They have about 10 days that they are here together, otherwise, they are not here at the same time. My youngest, almost 3, is in daycare some days, and when his older siblings are here, stays home sometimes with me and them and we go do things like the zoo and swimming and a trip to Detroit to watch the wife bowl Women's nationals. I have also had my brother's oldest son for a couple days, and will be having his two oldest here next week for 5 days.
I will try to add some new photos soon, I have a ton.
Well, I hope all is well with everyone, and feel free to message me or comment and I will try to be better about getting back on here. Good luck bowling and in life, Dameon.

Alright, haven't been on here much. And, since I can't sleep, I might as well get on here and post.
Think I have figured some things out again. I have been bowling better, ever since I decided to show up at city tournament.
I didn't bowl the Tuesday the 29th of Jan, because I was sick again. Seems to be the habit this year, have been sick more than I have probably the last 5 years combined. Does anyone think that having a child in daycare could be the reason for this? He comes home sick, then mom and dad catch it....lol.
I shot a 657 on my Thursday night league January 31st. I only bowled 3 games that week.
I shot 661 Tuesday the 5th. I shot 628 on Thursday the 7th. I didn't bowl this Friday, even though I was supposed to. I had a guy at the center that wanted the day off, and I picked up his shift. I put in a total of 31 games this week.
My brother Duane threw a 290 game last week. My high last week was a 278. Oh well, I guess I will have to keep working on it....lol. Congrats little brother.
Talked to Nathan Bohr for a few minutes last night. He was out practicing with my team captain for my Thursday league, Russ Wilson, and his wife Kristal (formerly Scott, from the women's televised events).
I leave for the TQR this afternoon, since it is technically Tuesday morning. Will keep you posted on how I do this week.
